The Design + Engineering Expo, which is a part of Manufacturing + Engineering Week, is an event covering all stages of the product lifecycle for industrial professionals to learn and explore the latest innovations. Manufacturing + Engineering Week usually attracts in excess of 8,000 attendees from around the region.

For more than 100 years, Sims Metal has helped businesses that generate obsolete industrial metal accomplish their carbon reduction targets, reduce their environmental impact, and achieve their corporate responsibility goals. As a driver of the circular, low-carbon economy, the company’s global operations help divert millions of tonnes of material from landfill each year.

“We are excited to exhibit at the Design + Engineering Expo where we will have the opportunity to speak with attendees about the metal recycling solutions we provide for manufacturing and engineering companies around the world,” said Peter Lunn, business development manager for the UK at Sims Metal. “Sims Metal is dedicated to innovation, committed to sustainability, and invests in state-of-the-art processing and recovery equipment to maximise material recovery.”

Mr. Lunn said that attendees will be able to meet with Sims Metal representatives and discuss opportunities for recycling discarded metal in a safe and compliant manner. Registration for the expo is now open. Find Sims Metal at stand K41.
