Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office is charging a third person in connection with the top-secret government documents recovered at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.
Carlos De Oliveira, a maintenance worker at Trump’s Florida resort, was added to the case against Trump, court records show.
Trump and his personal valet, Waltine “Walt” Nauta, were charged last month in a 38-count indictment alleging willful retention of national defense information, corruptly concealing documents, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and making false statements.
