5,000 ATTENDEES EXPECTED

The InCyber Forum has quickly become a pivotal hub for international collaboration in the cybersecurity sector. Its core mission is to connect and deepen ties between Canada, the United States, Europe, and other regions, with a keen focus on fostering digital trust.

Excitement builds up for the second North American edition of the forum, featuring a roster of 250 distinguished speakers from around the world. The U.S. will be prominently represented by key figures such as Nancy Rainosek, CISO of the State of Texas, and esteemed representatives from agencies like the FBI and NSA.

Canada's cybersecurity landscape will also be in focus, with Mr. Eric Caire, Quebec's Minister of Cybersecurity and Digital Affairs, and Sami Khoury, Director of the Canadian Center for Cybersecurity, lending their expertise.

The international scope of the event extends to Europe and other parts of the world. Attendees can look forward to insights from experts such as Marcos Gomez Hidalgo, Deputy Director at INCIBE-CERT (The Spanish cybersecurity agency), and Michel Van Den Berghe, President of the Cyber Campus in Paris, a project initiated by President Macron.

Industry giants such as Microsoft, Trend Micro, IBM, and Sentinel One are among the 200 sponsors slated to attend. The forum will also spotlight cybersecurity experts from esteemed entities such as Google Cloud, Meta, NBA, and the National Bank of Canada. With such a convergence of thought leaders, the anticipated 5,000 attendees from 36 countries can expect profound discussions and unparalleled networking opportunities.

DELVING INTO HOT TOPICS

Current hot topics are on the agenda, from ethics and the security of industrial processes to artificial intelligence and the sector's appeal.

In April 2023, the FBI, in coordination with Europol and numerous international partners, disrupted the online criminal marketplace known as Genesis Market. This was achieved through coordinated actions targeting the service and its users. The "Cookie Monster Operation" will be the subject of a panel discussion featuring its very own protagonists: Amanda J. Knutson (FBI), Marcello Zanini (Europol), Brian Abellera (FBI), Chris Lynam (NC3), and Andrée Dupuis (Quebec Safety).

This is just a glimpse of what the program offers. Attendees will experience 6 thematic scenes, a hacking lab, a pitch lab, and an exclusive gala cocktail at the Saint James Theater for VIP badge holders.

COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY

Aligned with its commitment to diversity, 50% of the InCyber Forum's speakers are women.

The "Future Talents" initiative aims to introduce youth to cybersecurity and generate interest in this forward-looking sector. Over 1,000 Montreal teens are invited to a day of engaging activities centered around these themes, supported by the CyberCap association.
